About the Opportunity
We’re building something special—a brand-new childcare venture from the team at Lotto Partners, focused on exceptional early childhood education, community connection, and nurturing environments for both children and staff. We’re seeking a seasoned, passionate Childcare Director to lead our team and help shape the culture and operations of this new venture.

Position Overview
The Childcare Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the childcare facility, ensuring high standards in curriculum, staff management, compliance, and family engagement. This individual plays a vital leadership role, guiding staff, supporting families, and maintaining a safe, organized, and enriching environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support for teaching and administrative staff
  • Set short- and long-term goals for program growth and staff development
  • Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and team communication
  • Maintain accurate records on children, employees, and daily operations
  • Ensure the facility complies with all local and state licensing requirements
  • Oversee curriculum planning, classroom environments, and educational materials
  • Coordinate events, field trips, holiday closures, and monthly calendars
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, holding regular check-ins and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with teachers to address behavioral and developmental needs of children
  • Order and manage supplies including educational tools, food, cleaning products, and first aid materials
  • Lead recruitment and hiring efforts for teaching and support roles

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Current certifications in CPR and First Aid
  • State and local licensing compliance (or ability to obtain)
  • Must pass a background check
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and lift up to 30 lbs; must be comfortable with active involvement in classroom settings
  • Availability for occasional evenings or weekends as needed
